I?m going to give you this answer in two parts. First off, I want you to take a good hard look at your offerings ? both your free ?taste? (like a preview call, webinar or video content series) and your actual paid product. Is it something your ideal client REALLY wants? Is it also interesting or entertaining to them? Does it give them a sense of community and connection?
You see, I can give you a laundry list (which I will in a moment) about how to get the word out, but if you don?t have a strong offer ? something that creates its own energy and excitement, it?s going to be that much more difficult to create a buzz around it.
So you have to start with your offer. If your offer is weak, it really doesn?t matter what else you do or don?t do. If your offer is strong, that can go a long way to pulling your launch forward.

NBA ALL-STAR GAME NOTEBOOK: Kobe Bryant takes heed of elders' advice
ORLANDO, Fla. - Whatever ailed Kobe Bryant that forced him to pull out of his All-Star Game media session subsided by Saturday morning, which meant Bryant was able to hold court with reporters for the first time this weekend.
Bryant, who said his illness Friday was the result of eating something that didn't agree with him, touched on a variety of subjects while waxing nostalgic over his 14 th All-Star appearance.

Bryant remembers running around New York with Kevin Garnett during his first All-Star weekend as a teenager, scoffing at older teammates Michael Jordan and Clyde Drexler's warnings that the relentless pace wanes over time.
Now at 33, he looks forward to resting more than carrying on, although he did leave room for one splurge while he was in Orlando.
"I haven't had a chance to go to Disneyworld yet," he said. "Maybe I'll do that."
As for Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard, who is acting as unofficial host this weekend while also playing out his very public feud with the Magic, Bryant senses some uneasiness.
"A little awkward, isn't it?" he said. "It's awkward."

"He just wants his team to be better," Bryant said. "Players sometimes reach a certain level of frustration when

Stern defends Paul decision
NBA commissioner David Stern defended his role in the Chris Paul-to-Lakers trade in which he stepped in and nixed the deal.
"I didn't veto anything," Stern maintained. "We are acting on behalf of the owners, as the owner's rep. New Orleans decided not to make the trade."
He also dismissed the notion he somehow stopped the trade, arguing it never officially reached the level of actual trade.
"There's no superstar that gets traded in this league unless the owner says, 'Go ahead with it,'" Stern said. "And in the case of New Orleans, the representative of the owner said 'That's not a trade we're going to make.'"
That representative was Stern himself.
"Correct," he said.
So in effect it was Stern's decision to turn down the Lakers offer.
"I said that New Orleans would not make the trade that had been proposed to them," Stern clarified.
Asked whether he made the right decision turning down the Lakers trade and saying yes to the Clippers proposal, Stern said time will tell.
"You know, buy a ticket and see," Stern said. "We'll see how it's works out."

"I don't know, man. You know, we just go out as a team, as a unit," James said. "We just try to come represent our team the best way we can and keep moving forward."
James also defended his decision to avoid the Slam Dunk contest throughout his career.
"That's not me. I'm not a dunk contest type of guy," James said. "I'm an in-game dunker. I kind of improvise during the game. But I don't know, I'm not all for scoreboards and all that stuff. "

Getty ImagesThe various concussion-related lawsuits filed in recent months have suddenly taken on a far more serious tone.? According to NBC Chicago, Dave Duerson?s estate has filed a wrongful death action against the NFL.
Duerson committed suicide on February 17, 2011.? The lawsuit claims that, ?[i]f the NFL would have taken the necessary steps to oversee and protect Dave Duerson by warning him of the dangers of head traumas . . . then [he] would not have suffered dangerous repetitive head trauma, would have recovered more rapidly, and would not have sustained permanent damage to his brain which contributed to his death.?
This allegation presumes that the NFL knew or should have known about the dangers of head traumas during Duerson?s career, and that he would have chosen not to play if that information had been shared with him.
?CTE has been a known entity to the NFL for years,? said William Gibbs, who represents the Duerson estate.? ?This degenerative brain disease causes various symptoms ranging from cognitive decline to dementia.?? The NFL?s blatant disregard of the significance of this crisis amongst its retirees is baffling.?
?We have not seen the lawsuit and therefore our attorneys have not had an opportunity to review it,? the league said in a statement forwarded to PFT.? ?Dave Duerson was an outstanding football player and
citizen who made so many positive contributions but unfortunately encountered serious personal challenges later in his life. We sympathize with the Duerson family and continue to be saddened by this tragedy.?
Hundreds of former players have filed suit against the league, claiming that the NFL knew about the long-term dangers of concussions and failed to disclose those risks to players.? The NFL has argued that relief should be pursued through the collective bargaining process, given that players have been represented by a union, the NFL Players Association.
Duerson played from 1983 through 1993, with the Bears, Giants, and Cardinals, winning a pair of Super Bowl rings.? He was one of the named plaintiffs in the Reggie White antitrust lawsuit, and he was a member of the NFLPA Executive Committee.
Last year, NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith said that Duerson?s death has ?shaken me personally.?? The NFLPA hasn?t said anything about the various and growing concussion lawsuits.? In response to Duerson?s lawsuit, spokesman George Atallah told PFT that the NFLPA has no comment.
Given Duerson?s past role in the NFLPA, one thing to watch going forward is whether the NFLPA will take an affirmative position on the merit of the allegations that the NFL knew about the risks of head injuries and failed to take appropriate action.

For a prospective student, finding Army friendly schools involves determining if they offer the subjects he or she desires to take, and do they understand the unique benefits of attracting former service people. A vocational school suited for former soldiers will be prepared to focus on the education of self-motivated and skilled individuals. This is especially important when considering that unlike many civilian students, former soldiers have often obtained some degree of experience in their chosen field as a part of their military service.
In addition, prospective students should consider what their educational needs will be. In some cases, military experience may substitute for some normally required classes. Army friendly schools will examine their students records in order to determine exactly what classes they need to take and if their experience will allow them to bypass any of those classes. In this way, in addition to obtaining an education, former soldiers can spend as little time as possible at school before starting their careers.
Funding your vocational education
The armed forces provide a number of Army scholarships for qualified individuals. These can drastically reduce the cost of an education or make it completely free for some students.
The most important program is the Montgomery GI Bill, which was established after World War II. The GI Bill will pay for up to 36 months of education, ranging from vocational schools to four-year colleges. The total price a former service member receives depends on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and the length and type of the soldier?s service. However, GI Bill related Army scholarships could pay as much as $1,000 a month for school related expenses. Tuition Assistance (TA) programs are also available for former soldiers and will pay up to 100 percent of the cost of his or her education, with a cap of $250 per credit hour.
For a soldier, furthering their education is an important personal and professional goal, especially in today?s economy. Fortunately, with programs such as the GI Bill and Tuition Assistance, they can easily obtain the education they desire.

First, you need a proper heading for your business trip report. Be sure to include your name and the names of colleagues that also came along as fellow travelers on the trip. Write down the names of clients or partners that you saw during the trip. Write down the exact dates of the trip. Also be sure to include the date that you are writing the report. If the report is a specific memo to one person, address it properly. If the trip had a particular mission or point, such as to land a big client or to attend a certain conference, be sure to include that in the heading. The point is that the report should be very easy to identify and read.

Next, include a summary that goes in more depth about your trip. Summarize the key things that you did for the company on the trip. Also summarize your victories and defeats. You may want to use the sandwich approach for this. If you had two successes and one failure on the trip, start off by stating a good thing that you did, then include the negative, and conclude by focusing on a new positive things that also occurred. It?s a subtle but wise way to keep things more focused on what went right and what you were able to accomplish, while also being honest about your setbacks.

You want to then include an itemized list of expenses and gains throughout the trip. After listing expenses, you then want to make a bullet point list of all the reasons that trip was successful and necessary. Although the written summary is nice, there also needs to be an organized way for the busy executives to process the report to help with future business trips.

Be sure to follow your particular company?s policies regarding business trip reports. Each and every company will have its own requirements and formats. These are the basics if no other format is given or preferred. Trust yourself and keep thorough records for the most effective business trip report.

Would the fare be a glorified kebab shop? Or would it go the opposite direction, offering a dazzling adventure in the culinary anthropology of Lebanon, but mystifying its diners?
Thankfully, Comptoir Libanais straddles any such divide, offering distinctive twists on many dishes that British palates will be familiar with, along with a wide range of Lebanese specialities that they might not.
To begin with, there was no escaping the meze platter, which offered good value at ?6 each, with a large helping of fresh, crisp tabbouleh and just about enough hummus and baba ghanoush to get by. The falafel was exemplary and, though a little sparse, the pickles likewise. The only gripe about the starter selection is the price of the dishes not offered as a platter. Over ?6 for a ?halloumi steak? seemed a little much, even with a delicious fig and rose jelly.
Although it raised an eyebrow from our waitress, we also felt obliged to try the Arak (aniseed flavoured strong liquor), which proved a potent opener. For the more conventional drinker, there was a selection of Lebanese wines (we chose a tidy Merlot from the Bekaa Valley). Arak, we learned, is probably a dessert kind of drink.
Main courses revolve round the staples of kibbeh (cigar shaped lamb kebabs served with a yoghurt dip) and tagines, but there is a broad selection of Lebanese salads to choose from. Vegetarians are well catered for, and the aubergine tagine was rich ? but not overly so ? and more than enough to satisfy.
The lamb kibbeh, while appearing slight at first, turned out to offer sufficient meat and cool yoghurt to please meat eaters, even with the hint of haggis that they suggest. And the mains in general complement a generous helping of meze to start, without being either too expensive or resulting in masses of wasted food.
Although the service is prompt and friendly, it pays to have a look around the restaurant, which serves as a coffee house, breakfast venue, delicatessen and, we were pleased to find out, a vendor of ornately decorated hand bags. The bags, which sat like inflated Klimts around the walls, may or may not have represented good value, but they are better than bare walls. And they are better than the enormous (and slightly Stalinist) grinning portrait of Sirine, the icon of the chain, which immediately greets the diner.
Dessert though, was excellent. A combination of fig jam and yoghurt and walnut baklava rounded off the meal beautifully, and try the orange blossom infusion known as Caf? Blanc as well, if only for the aroma. Don?t miss out. At around ?25 Comptoir Libanais represents good value, healthy food and a bit of gaudy couture, if that?s your bag.

Blast in Bangkok linked to Iran, Israel says (AP)
BANGKOK ? A wounded Iranian fleeing an unintended explosion at a house threw a grenade at Bangkok police that instead blew off one of his legs in a series of blasts Tuesday that Israel's defense minister called an "attempted terrorist attack" by Iran. The violence came a day after Israel blamed Tehran for targeting its diplomats with bombs in India and Georgia.
Four other people were injured in the Bangkok explosions, which tore the roof off a house where the wounded man lived with two other compatriots. A second Iranian was arrested at Bangkok's international airport as he was trying to leave Thailand for Malaysia and a third was being sought, police said.
Israel's Channel 10 TV quoted unidentified Thai authorities as saying the captured Iranians confessed to targeting Israeli interests. The site of the blast is just a few miles from the Israeli Embassy.
Thai government spokeswoman Thitima Chaisaeng said "we need more analysis" to determine who was behind the attack and whether Iran was involved. She refused to comment on what the Iranians might have been planning or whether targets had been identified.
The explosions in the normally peaceful Thai capital came as tensions are running high between the two Middle Eastern nations because of Israel's threats of military strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities and the recent killings of Iranian atomic scientists. Iran has blamed Israel for the assassinations, and there have been signs that Tehran might try to retaliate.
Iran denied responsibility for the bombing of an Israeli diplomatic car in New Delhi that injured four people and the foiled bombing of an Israeli diplomatic car in Tbilisi, Georgia ? both on Monday. Those attacks appeared to mirror the recent killings of Iranian scientists by "sticky bombs."
"The attempted terrorist attack in Bangkok proves once again that Iran and its proxies continue to perpetrate terror," Defense Minister Ehud Barak said in Singapore. "The recent terror attacks are yet another example of this."
Iran and its Lebanese ally Hezbollah are "unrelenting terror elements endangering the stability of the region and endangering the stability of the world," added Barak, who was in Bangkok on Sunday, according to Israel's Defense Ministry.
Added Israeli Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch, in an interview with Israel Radio: "We know who carried out the terror attacks, we know who sent them, and Israel will settle the score with them."
There was no comment from Iranian officials in Tehran on Tuesday's blasts in Thailand.
In Washington, State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland didn't blame Iran directly, but she noted Monday's incidents in India and Georgia, and recent "Iranian-sponsored" and "Hezbollah-linked" plots to attack Israeli and Western interests in Azerbaijan and Thailand.
Will Hartley, head of the Terrorism & Insurgency Center at IHS Jane's in London, said the attacks in India, Georgia and Thailand "have all been highly amateurish, and lack the sophistication that would normally be expected from an operation executed by either Hezbollah or Iran's own external operations wing, the Quds Force."
The sequence of Tuesday's blasts in Bangkok began when a stash of explosives apparently detonated by accident in the house occupied by the three Iranians, blowing off part of its roof.
Thai security forces found more explosives in the house, but the possible targets were not immediately known, Police Gen. Pansiri Prapawat said.
Surveillance video from after that blast showed separate images of each of the suspects walking down the middle of a residential street. One man wearing a baseball cap and a dark jacket carried a large backpack over one shoulder and what appeared to be two portable transistor radios ? one in each hand.
A second suspect wearing sunglasses, a T-shirt, pants and tennis shoes also carried a backpack. The third, dressed in camouflage shorts, carried nothing.
A man identified as Saeid Moradi was wounded in the initial explosion and left the house, Pansiri said.
"He tried to wave down a taxi, but he was covered in blood, and the driver refused to take him," Pansiri said. Moradi then threw an explosive that damaged the taxi.
Police who had been called to the scene tried to apprehend Moradi, who hurled a grenade at them, "but somehow it bounced back" and blew off his leg, Pansiri said.
Photos of the wounded Moradi showed him covered in soot, lying on a sidewalk strewn with broken glass in front of a primary and secondary school. Hospital officials said Moradi's right leg was severed below the knee, while his left leg was severely injured.
The Iranian arrested at the airport was identified as Mohummad Hazaei and had been in the house at the time the explosives went off, police said.
A third Iranian ? believed wounded in the first explosion ? was at large, they said.
Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra called on people "not to panic" and said the situation was under control.
Three Thai men and one Thai woman wounded in the explosions were taken to Kluaynamthai Hospital, said Dr. Suwinai Busarakamwong.
On Monday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel had thwarted attacks in recent months in Azerbaijan, Thailand and unspecified other countries.
Last month, a Lebanese-Swedish man with alleged links to pro-Iranian Hezbollah militants was detained by Thai police. He led authorities to a warehouse filled with more than 8,800 pounds (4,000 kilograms) of urea fertilizer and several gallons of liquid ammonium nitrate.
Israel and the United States at the time warned their citizens to be alert in the capital, but Thai authorities said Thailand appeared to have been a staging ground but not the target of any attack.
Pansiri said that "so far, we haven't found any links between these two cases."
Authorities are trying to trace Moradi's movements, but initial reports indicated he arrived in Thailand from Seoul, South Korea, on Feb. 8, Pansiri said. He landed at the southern resort of Phuket, then stayed for several nights in a hotel in Chonburi, a couple hours drive southeast of Bangkok, for several nights.
A bomb disposal unit checked a dark backpack near the spot where Moradi was wounded and police found Iranian currency, U.S. dollars and Thai money in the bag, Pansiri said.
Thailand has rarely been a target for foreign terrorists, although a domestic Muslim insurgency in the country's south has involved bombings of civilian targets.
In New Delhi, Indian investigators sought the motorcycle assailant who attached the bomb to the Israeli diplomatic car that injured four, including a diplomat's wife, who was in critical, but stable, condition.
Indian Home Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram said it appeared to be a terror attack carried out by a "very well-trained person." Authorities were scanning closed-circuit camera video of the street, Chidambaram said.
Israeli media also reported that Mossad teams are in Bangkok and New Delhi to investigate the explosions.
